History

We have the great pleasure of welcoming  you in the 17th and 19th century tenements prepared specially for you. In this unique building (black tenement) with an original facade we have established a luxury hotel and exclusive restaurant. Antique polychromes of the 17th and 18th centuries have survived till our times.
The building’s frontal elevation, covered with a black plaster, represents a type of the late Renaissance’s tenement, and on its peak there is a king’s crown, typical for the Vasa dynasty. In the tenement where Samuel Bogumił Linde was born – the author of a dictionary of the Polish language –we prepared for you luxury apartments and rooms furnished in the Art Deco style.

Stay in our hotel facilitates sightseeing of Toruń (Thorn), a town entered into the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage list.
